My friend said to me the other day, “you should have a blog.” I had been ruminating on this for a long time and even made a special place in my website anticipating the alignment. And here we are.
She is the ideal person for me to serve, being a mother looking to reconnect with her inner and outer nature, while helping her child to do the same. Her goal is to regain balance with her own nature, her minerals, her emotions, her family, and the natural environment surrounding her. By receiving the invitation to give her guidance, I was able to step in and help her gain clarity she was seeking.
In Human Design my friend is a generator and I am a projector. In this system, I am successful when I follow my strategy and wait for an invitation. On the other hand, she is satisfied when she follows her strategy and responds with sacral energy to something in her experience. She observed my life changing as I explored traditional knowledge and practices including human design, astrology, emotional freedom technique, sungazing, earthing, mindfulness, fasting, and more. With her recognition and invitation to share knowledge through my writing, I received confirmation from the universe that I can be successful in serving people with my words. Perhaps it may serve as a whisper of an invitation for some of you as you read this.
My inner call to support people in their personal evolution is reflected by the outer need, which I felt through this invitation. In the human design system, generators, with their defined sacral center, are the ideal type for projectors to support. Projectors help to guide the energy response of the generator. Many generators I know seek out my advice as they are navigating their energetic responses to life. The beings who come to me for guidance are revealing the ideal type for me to guide. They are people who have, like many of us, fallen out of equilibrium with their internal and external environment - their true nature.
Dr. Maria Montessori encourages us to prepare our outer environment for success, and in the same way we get to prepare our inner environment. Interestingly, the signature of being in the self (as opposed to the not-self) for a projector, is success. Another way to think about being in the self is alignment with your true energetic essence, or living guided by your inner nature. If you are a projector, you experience success in life when you follow the design of your inner nature, your strategy, and your authority. You will be recognized, then invited, and have success when you follow the invitations that feel aligned to your unique path and purpose. If you are a generator or a manifesting generator, you experience satisfaction when you are living aligned with your self, your human design.
We are in correct alignment in human design when we are following our strategy and authority, instead of the not-self theme from conditioning. We all live with people who are designed differently, even if you live with someone of the same personality type (these are: generators, manifesting generators, projectors, manifestors, and reflectors). Unless they are twins born at the same second, no two people have the exact same chart. We are all uniquely designed and require different roadmaps to live the most satisfying and successful lives.
There are various avenues for us to explore our natural design. Some people are able to wrap their consciousness around the concept of astrology. Others are going to come at it from a more scientific side, looking at the DNA, looking at the codons. Within myself, I am creating cooperation between the ancient knowledge and the new. Those two streams of knowledge were separated for a while, and it is time for the unity of these systems within ourselves and in our external world. In the system of Human Design there is a melding and a deep overlap of ancient and new. It feels like a reintegration and recalibration to what is truth. We are multidimensional. We are thought and emotion and matter. We are known and unknown. We are of this world and of all time and space.
I love the Human Design system. Especially as an emotional authority projector with my solar plexus defined, it has illuminated how my emotions function, as designed. People with splenic authority have a completely different way. They have an immediate knowing, an immediate feeling. Those of us with emotional authority have to go through a wave of emotion to reach clarity. It is what it is. I am learning to surrender and flow with this divine design of my solar plexus energy in motion.
Although there has been immense conditioning to be otherwise in our society, about 47% of people have emotional authority and receive clarity through the resolution of an emotional wave. If your solar plexus is defined, based on the energies at your date, time, and place of birth, then your authority for decisive clarity will be emotional. This seems like a contradiction in terms, however, that is because of our conditioning. If your clarity comes through the authority of your emotional waves, then that is your nature, your design, and nurturing it is the clearest path to success.
Knowing and feeling the energies of our solar plexus is vital, especially as we are moving into a new phase, a new time for humanity, as we enter 2027. It has already begun. We are right now transitioning through the final years of the Cross of Planning, which has been about community building and social contracts, and we are shifting into the Cross of the Sleeping Phoenix. This is a completely different energy. The solar plexus will be front and center, and we will need emotional authority people to help us digest the emotions. And remember, projectors are here to be wayshowers in this time. So, if you are a projector and you happen to have emotional authority as well, humanity truly needs you to guide our solar plexus heart consciousness transformation.
As a projector personality type you are most likely going to be drawn to this human design system. Those who do not have a solar plexus motor (aka those who do not have the solar plexus defined based on gates and connections to other centers’ gates) are not able to process and digest emotions in the same way as people with a defined solar plexus. These “non-emotional” types still experience emotions that are their own and they also experience emotions that are not their own, however, there is not a solar plexus pathway to process and digest them. Therefore, the emotions of a defined solar plexus person can really make someone without that center defined feel out of control. Those of us with emotional authority can certainly feel uncomfortable under these solar plexus waves, but it is part of our nature to have these waves and to process them.
We are built to flow with our fluctuations. We are designed to dance with changing tides, only then can we truly see and know where to go. Whatever the personality type, if your solar plexus is defined, you have emotional authority. If you are living with someone who has emotional authority and you do not, it can be challenging. This is just one aspect of how our differing designs can be experienced within relationships and within ourselves.
It is remarkably illuminating for us to understand our own human design as well as the design of those around us. Otherwise it can be like traveling through life without a map or compass. While that can certainly be fun, most of the time it is nice to know which way to go to reach our desired destination. When we discover our human design it is like finding our personal compass and map. Your design is uniquely yours, created to take YOU where you choose to go. When you follow your true nature then you are able to reach your greatest destinations. You are your own roadmap.
